35 Abuse of Leave If you are found to have provided a false reason for a leave, you will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination. Designation of Leave If the Company becomes aware of any qualifying reason for FMLA leave, the Company will designate it as such. An employee may not refuse FMLA designation under this policy. Retaliation The Company will not retaliate against employees who request or take leave in accordance with this policy. 7.8 Health Insurance New England Security offers group health insurance benefits to all eligible full time employees who have completed at least 60 days of continuous employment. Health plan benefits are described in detail in the Summary Plan Description (SPD), which may be obtained by emailing [email protected] Your group health benefits are paid in part by the Company. The remainder of the costs are paid by you through deductions from your paycheck. You will receive a detailed packet of information regarding the plan, rates, and coverage. You will receive this information by certified mail when eligible and you shall have at least 30 days to respond. Benefits may be canceled or changed at the discretion of the Company, unless otherwise prohibited by law. If you or a dependent become ineligible for benefits due to a change in work hours or through a life event, or you leave employment with us, you may have the right to continue your health benefits under federal or state law. In such event, the Company will provide you with information about your rights to continue your benefits coverage. 7.9 Holidays New England Security offers a premium wage for those working on the following major holidays: • New Year's Day • Juneteenth National Independence Day • Independence Day • Labor Day • Thanksgiving Day • Christmas Day All employees that work on holidays will receive 1.5 times the regular pay for all hours actually worked. On minor holidays or local holidays not federally recognized, at the sole discretion of the Company, employees that work on these days will receive Flex/Comp time that can either be redeemed for cash or converted to regular vacation time (PTO).
